Serie A giants AC Milan are reportedly looking to complete a January deal for Manchester City star Kyle Walker amid interest from Real Madrid. A report from Italian journalist Rudy Galetti claims that the aforementioned Italian club will also face competition from rivals Inter Milan (via The Hard Tackle).

Pep Guardiola recently confirmed that the England international is looking to move on from the Etihad Stadium, with his contract expiring in the summer of 2026. This means that the Cityzens will have to let him go in 2025 to avoid losing him for free the following year.

Despite AC Milan's interest, it won't be an easy transfer, with Real Madrid looking to strengthen the right-back department. Due to a long-term injury to experienced defender Dani Carvajal, Los Blancos are in need of a capable replacement to finish the season.

Carlo Ancelotti's team are in a good position to compete for the La Liga title, placed second and only a point behind leaders Atletico Madrid. Lucas Vazquez is currently filling in for Carvajal at right-back. Walker would certainly be a safe addition, who will provide experience in this area.

Overall, the 34-year-old full-back has made 319 appearances across competitions for Manchester City, bagging six goals and 23 assists. Since arriving from Tottenham Hotspur in 2017, Walker has won the Premier League trophy six times and the UEFA Champions League once, among other honors.

Real Madrid looking to improve in both full-back roles as they eye move for PSG star- Reports

Real Madrid are seemingly looking to improve in both left-back and right-back slots during the January transfer window. The Spanish giants have been long linked with a move for Bayern Munich defender Alphonso Davies, which seems like a transfer that is unlikely to happen now.

Therefore, CaughtOffSide have now claimed that Los Blancos hold an interest in Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) left-back Nuno Mendes (via Football Espana). However, this deal will not be easy due to competition from Manchester United.

A large part of Real Madrid's interest in left-backs seemingly stems from the fact that Ferland Mendy's agreement expires in the summer of 2025. Mendes would serve as a good long-term replacement, given he's still 22. He's made 101 appearances across competitions for PSG, bagging five goals and 13 assists. Mendes is contracted at the Parc des Princes till 2026.
