Trent Alexander-Arnold's demands to sign new deal revealed

Real Madrid target Trent Alexander-Arnold's demands to extend his deal at Liverpool have been revealed. As reported by Ben Jacobs via LFC Transfer Room on X, the England international wants a three-year deal as well as the captain's armband in the future.

Alexander-Arnold's future has been subject to speculations in recent months, with his current deal at Anfield expiring this summer. Real Madrid have been heavily linked with the 26-year-old's signature and reportedly had a bid rejected earlier this week.

There have been contradictory reports regarding Alexander-Arnold in the last few days, with Spanish media claiming that he is destined to join Los Blancos. Meanwhile, several reports have claimed that the Englishman has been in talks with his boyhood club regarding a contract extension.

Alexander-Arnold has been at Liverpool throughout his entire career having come through the club's youth ranks. He has made 333 appearances for the Merseyside giants till date having scored 20 goals and provided 85 assists.

The right-back has won everything at club level with his boyhood club and is regarded as one of the most creative players in world football. The Real Madrid target was also named the Reds' vice-captain in 2023 after James Milner left the club.

With Virgil van Dijk aged 33 now, Alexander-Arnold is destined to become the Liverpool captain if he extends his stay at Anfield. Numerous times in the past, he has shared his dream of playing for his boyhood club throughout his career and don the armband. Alexander-Arnold has been excellent this season under Arne Slot having scored once and provided five assists in 23 appearances across competitions.


Liverpool name their asking price for Real Madrid target Trent Alexander-Arnold: Reports

Liverpool have reportedly splashed a €25 million asking price for their star right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold amid interest from Real Madrid. As claimed by Spanish outlet AS and the Daily Mail, the Reds would sell the 26-year-old if Los Blancos match their asking price.

Real Madrid reportedly made a €10 million offer for the full-back which was swiftly turned down by the Reds. Arne Slot's side will reportedly accept an offer if Los Blancos up their bid by €15 million.

Alexander-Arnold's current deal with Liverpool expires this summer, putting the Merseyside giants in a tight spot. The Reds are believed to be in negotiations with the England international, as per several reports from the English media.
