Turkish outfit Besiktas are reportedly prepared to offer an escape route to Barcelona outcast Ansu Fati, as they prepare a loan offer for the Spaniard. The forward has failed to break into the squad for La Blaugrana this season, leading the club to put him up for sale.
Fati has made only eight appearances this season for La Blaugrana, playing a total of 186 minutes without any goal contributions. The 22-year-old forward has emerged as a target for Besiktas, as per a report from Fotomac.
Barcelona boss Hansi Flick was very impressed with Fati at the start of pre-season, but the forward injured his foot just before the team jetted out on tour. He never managed to regain a place in the squad, and the club is prepared to move on from him.
Ansu Fati spent time on loan at Premier League side Brighton & Hove Albion in the 2023-24 season, but injuries prevented him from making a difference in England. The youngster, who was likened to Lionel Messi in his younger days, may now be headed to Besiktas this month.
The Turkish side are looking to take Fati on loan to keep up with their rivals Galatasaray and Fenerbahce. The two sides have signed top players like Victor Osimhen and Youssef En-Nesyri, respectively, this season. Besiktas will look to tempt Fati with minutes, which he has not gotten under Xavi and now Flick at the Catalan club.
Barcelona are prepared to let Fati move elsewhere, with LaLiga outfit Girona having declared their interest in the forward. A move to Besiktas is on the cards for the young forward, with the Turkish side prepared to offer him a chance.
European giants reach agreement with Barcelona defender over transfer - Reports
Juventus have reportedly reached an agreement with Barcelona defender Ronald Araujo on personal terms ahead of signing him on a temporary basis this month. The Serie A outfit are in need of defensive reinforcement, having lost Brazilian defender Gleison Bremer to a season-ending injury last year.
A report from Juve FC has indicated that the Italian giants have agreed with Araujo to join them on loan this month. They will like to have an option to buy the Uruguayan. Juventus will enter into negotiations with Barcelona to try and finalize an agreement for the centre-back, with the Spanish giants keen to raise money.
Araujo has failed to feature regularly for La Blaugrana since making his return to action after being out since July with a hamstring problem. With teen star Pau Cubarsi having established himself in his absence, the 25-year-old has found himself needing to be patient this season. Having made just one appearance since returning, Araujo is looking elsewhere for minutes this month.
