Valencia defender Adil Rami has been offered to Manchester United after his transfer to AC Milan has stalled, according to the Daily Mail.
Rami has been on-loan at AC Milan this season but the Italians and Spaniards could not agree on the £10 million price set by his parent club and he now looks set to move on elsewhere.
A deal has been outlined since October but Milan and Valencia have not been able to agree on the fee that would take Rami from Spain to Milan.
Man United manager David Moyes is on the search for a quality central defender to replace the departing Nemanja Vidic, who has already signed a contract with Milan’s rivals, Inter.
Rio Ferdinand could also be leaving the club in the summer after a couple of disappointing years. There were rumours earlier in the season that he could be hanging up his boots in the summer but there has yet to be any confirmation or denial of this.
Moyes has been linked with plenty other defenders, especially the likes of Ezequiel Garay of Benfica.
