Sources report that the Gunners could offer an escape route for Fulham striker – Dimitar Berbatov. They are said to offer the 32- year old a one and a half year deal.
This comes following reports of Berbatov becoming unsatisfied with life at Craven Cottage. Arsenal, who have been linked with a host of strikers, could get good quality in the form of Berbatov at a considerable bargain.
Olivier Giroud has been their lone warrior up-front, with Danish back up, Nicklas Bendtner on his way out of the Emirates. The former Manchester United man could provide much needed support up front.
