Arsenal could still be in the race for Real Sociedad attacking midfielder Antoine Griezmann, with the forward taking to Twitter to deny reports that he has agreed a deal to move to French side Paris Saint-Germain, reports the Daily Star.
The Frenchman has long been linked with a move to Arsenal, while he has also been linked with moves to fellow Premier League duo Chelsea and Manchester United.
However reports earlier in the week claimed that the 23-year-old, who has scored 15 La Liga goals this season, had tied up a deal to move to PSG in the summer.
The rumours have proven to be false though, with Griezmann tweeting:
“After seeing this news, I would deny discussions or an agreement with a club,”
I want to clarify that despite rumours of a deal with PSG has no contact or decision of this kind have been considered.”
The Sociedad winger has been most often linked with a move to Arsenal and the denial of any kind of deal with PSG means that it is still possible that Griezmann could be heading to the Premier League in the summer.
