According to International Business times, Arsenal will be looking to bring in Olympiakos forward Konstantinos Mitroglou and Real Betis winger Alvaro Vadillo in the January transfer window.
Mitroglou has been in deadly form in the season with 17 goals from 15 games which includes a hat-trick in the Champions League against Anderlecht. The 25-year-old also sparkled for Greece in the World Cup qualifiers, helping them to cement their berth in the competition with three goals in playoffs.
Olympiakos manager admitted that the forward has been attracting interest from all across Europe and said that it would be hard to keep him at the club.
“We’ve known for some time that there has been interest from many clubs. But that’s only logical considering how well he has been doing lately. There have been no concrete proposals so far, but if he keeps on doing well, it’s going to be hard to keep him,” he said.
Meanwhile, Betis star Vadillo, is on the verge of a move to Emirates according to a string of newspapers in Spain. Vadillo is hailed as the new Cristiano Ronaldo and his agent has said that he is attracting interest from Tottenham and Arsenal with the latter being the favorites to land him.
