Recent reports suggest that Arsenal could move for Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez in the January transfer window, if they fail lure their primary target Luis Suarez to the Emirates.
The South American has played second-fiddle to Wayne Rooney and Robin Van Persie so far at Old Trafford, and is now looking for a move away in order to play more first-team football.
Hernandez could be the perfect addition to Arsene Wenger’s squad, as he explores the opportunity to add to his rather starved attacking line. The forward has proven his goal scoring prowess, scoring 35 goals in 57 appearances for his national side over the last three years.
The Mexican joined the Red Devils in 2010, after he caught the eye with his lethal finishing. However, he has failed to make inroads to the first team during his three year stint, as he has primarily been used as an impact player off the bench.
A move to Arsenal could be an attractive proposition for the 25-year old, however, Manchester United and David Moyes could be a potential hurdle in the deal.
