Arsenal are reportedly looking to sign Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic when the transfer window reopens in January. The Serbian marksman is under contract at the Allianz Stadium till 2026.

Vlahovic, 24, hasn't quite set the stage alight in Turin since arriving from Fiorentina in January 2022, contributing 48 goals and 10 assists in 111 games across competitions. That includes seven goals and an assist in 10 outings across competitions this season.

As per teamTALK, the Gunners pursued Vlahovic in January this year, but Juve didn't want to lose the striker in the middle of the season. Although they didn't rekindle their interest in the Serb in the summer, talkSPORT has reported that Mikel Arteta's side are looking to bolster their attack by signing Vlahovic.

The Juve man is said to have a price tag of £50 million as he enters the final 18 months of his current deal with the Serie A side.

The Gunners have missed out on the Premier League title in the last two seasons, finishing behind Manchester City, who won an unprecedented four-peat last campaign.

The arrival of a potent striker like Vlahovic could elevate the Gunners to title contenders this season and end City's stranglehold on the top flight.

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta bemoaned his side's difficulties in playing with 10 men after centre-back William Saliba saw red in the 2-0 Premier League defeat at Bournemouth at the weekend.

Following Saliba's 30th-minute dismissal, the Gunners held fort for 40 more minutes before Ryan Christie broke the deadlock. Justin Kluivert's penalty nine minutes later settled the contest as Arteta's side lost for the first time in 11 games across competitions this season.

"Playing with 10 men, always there is an issue," said Arteta after the defeat at the Vitality. "The truth is, when you analyse it, three very different actions and the outcome of them, the reasons are very different.
"Regardless of that, we cannot continue to play with 10 men, especially at this level. We need to eradicate that; it's clear. The reasons and how - it doesn't matter. We have to focus, and it has to happen."

The Gunners return to action at home to Shakhtar Donetsk in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday (October 23), having drawn goalless at Atalanta on matchday one before beating PSG 2-0 at home.
