According to the Daily Star, Arsenal have set their eye on Manchester City defender Micah Richards for a possible January transfer window move.
Arsenal are looking for a replacement for French right-back Bacary Sagna, whose contract ends at the end of this season. Sagna is being linked to Paris Saint-Germain.
Although they have Carl Jenkinson in the right-back position, Arsenal want another option if Sagna, 30, fails to agree a new deal at the Emirates.

Micah Richards is no longer a first choice right-back at Manchester City. Argentine Pablo Zabaleta has been playing in that position for most of the matches.
Richards is out of contract at the end of next season and stated recently that he would be happy to stay at City for another ten years but a move to Arsenal would be a tempting alternative.
