Rumour: AS Roma targets Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic

Inside Football reports, After Juventus another Italian Serie A club, AS Roma has set their eyes on Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic.

AS Roma manager, Rudi Garcia is eager to sign Vidic as the the Serbian defender’s contract with United comes to an end next summer.

But, it remains unclear whether Roma are trying a possible cut-price transfer for Vidic in January or they would wait until July and pick up the defender without a fee.

There is though still time for Nemanja Vidic to pen a new deal with the reigning Premier League champions.
