Reportedly, Manchester United are in for Atlético Madrid’s highly rated midfielder Koke, who has a £17 million release clause in his contract.

The 21-year-old Spanish international, who recently made his international debut has been in sensational form this season scoring 3 and assisting 8 goals in 15 league appearances so far.

The industrious midfielder is comfortable in a central position as well as on the flanks. With the seemingly endless midfield problems that United possess, the Spaniard would be an ideal solution who can slot in right away, although many might consider him one for the future, due to his relatively tender age.

David Moyes also paid a visit to Vicente Calderon to watch the Spaniard in action against Porto last Wednesday. Though a January move is unlikely as Koke believes jumping ship mid-season would be a foolish decision, which might also affect his hopes of making the Spanish 2014 World Cup squad.

With a relatively low release clause, United should easily match it and add this attacking midfielder among their ranks. Though, interest from Barcelona and Liverpool has also been reported.
