The Bacary Sagna contract extension saga is likely to be concluded in the next couple of days as the defender will hold one last round of negotiations with the representatives at Arsenal.
The Frenchman’s contract at the Emirates runs out in the summer and has already received two contract extension offers so far, which have failed to match the player’s expectation.
The 31-year old is said to be looking for a four year contract with a significant rise in wages from £60,000-per-week to £90,000-per-week. The Gunners however, are willing to offer a contract not more than 2 years on the same wages the player is currently on.
Several clubs are anxiously awaiting the results of the last round of negotiations as they look to swoop for the full back in the summer. European outfits like Liverpool, PSG, Monaco, Galatasaray are reportedly interested in the right back.
