Turkish club Fenerbahce are reportedly willing to offer Bacary Sagna double his current wages at Arsenal to join them in the summer, according to French publication L’Equipe.
Talks over a new contract with Arsenal for Sagna have stalled according to manager Arsene Wenger with the club having made a final offer to the right-back to convince him to extend his deal beyond the end of the season, with it due to expire in June.
The two parties are still thought to differ on the length of the contract with Arsenal unwilling to offer long-term deals to players over the age of 30, and Fenerbahce are believed to be willing to take advantage of that rift to offer him a fresh challenge.
There are also offers from Italy and France to tempt the right-back away from the Premier League, but Fenerbahce are prepared to offer him big money to commit his future to the Turkish club, willing to offer more money than the Gunners are offering and give him the three-year deal that he wants.
Arsenal have put a contingency plan in place should the French defender opt to try his hand in pastures new, with reports linking them with moves for Calum Chambers of Southampton and Borussia Dortmund right-back Lukasz Piszczek.
