Rumour: Barcelona may rope in Dimitar Berbatov

As per Standart’s reports, Barcelona are surprisingly linked with Fulham striker Dimitar Berbatov.

Many experienced strikers are on Gerardo Martino’s radar as the Argentinian manager looks forward to strengthen his strike force.

But even if the veteran Bulgarian striker joins the Catalan giants he would have to spend a considerable amount of time on the bench, considering the attack force Barcelona already have.

Berbatov has scored 17 goals in 46 appearances. Prior to his move to Craven Cottage, Berbatov scored 57 goals in 139 games for Manchester United and 46 goals for Tottenham in 102 matches.
