It is no secret that David Moyes has shown his admiration for the German international midfielder, Toni Kroos, whom he himself scouted and wanted to sign in the January transfer window after learning that he could soon be out of the picture at the Allianz Arena. Although there was no deal struck in January, United’s cause has been boosted further by the news that Kroos has stalled on signing a new contract at the club.
However, Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola is currently reluctant to let go of his star midfielder that easily. According to the reports coming in from the Bayern camp, as understood by Sports Direct News, Guardiola will demand United youngster Adnan Januzaj as part of the Kroos deal.
The 19-year-old Belgian has been a silver lining amongst the dark clouds that have surrounded United’s campaign this year. He has been touted as the the next shining star of world football and not someone who David Moyes would be willing to part with, not least as the attacker has only recently signed a new long term contract.
This transfer saga now looks to be the highlight of the upcoming transfer window which will keep everyone associated with the two powerhouses of world football guessing.
