Rumour: Bayern Munich plot bid for Manchester United striker Robin van Persie

German outfit Bayern Munich are said to be preparing an outrageous plot to swoop for unsettled striker, Robin van Persie. The club, who were rebuffed in their attempt to land Polish forward, Robert Lewandowski in the summer, are now looking for other options, Robin van Persie being one of them.

The forward netted 30 times in his debut season for the Red Devils, helping them to yet another Premier League title. He has been in and out of the side this campaign due to injury, however, he has still managed to find the back of the net on 10 occasions.

The Manchester United star is said to have differences with new boss, David Moyes, and is looking for a way out of Old Trafford.

The Manchester club are said to be willing to listen to offers for their talisman in the region of £37 million.
