Rumour: Borussia Dortmund set their eyes on Lukas Podolski

Sports Direct News reports that Arsenal‘s winger Lukas Podolski is on Borussia Dortmund’s radar. The German winger has been on the club’s wanted list for some time, but they are waiting to see if the front man makes a full recovery from his injury ahead of the January transfer window.

Podolski has still not recovered from the hamstring injury that he suffered at the beginning of the season.

A source talking to Sports Direct said: “Lukas is set to return before the end of November or early next month, but the Gunners would want around £10 million for him.

“There are plans to bring in another striker in the winter so this one may well have legs.”

With Olivier Giroud in sublime form and Theo Walcott set to return into action soon, Arsenal may consider Dortmund’s offer.
