Rumour: Borussia Dortmund target Lewis Holtby close to Fulham loan move

If recent reports are to be believed, in-demand Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Lewis Holtby is close to joining Fulham on loan for the remainder of the season.

The coveted playmaker, who has fallen down the pecking order at White Hart Lane, has been linked with several big clubs including Schalke and Borussia Dortmund.

Southampton boss Mauricio Pochettino announced the imminent deal, in a rather unusual move.

“They’ve made a lot of changes a lot of signings. They’ve just signed Lewis Holtby from Tottenham” he said.

Fulham have denied reports of the deal being close to completion, however, an announcement is expected soon.
