Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca looks on.

Chelsea are sweating with the possibility of attacker Cole Palmer sustaining an injury in the 1-1 Premier League draw at Manchester United on Sunday (November 3).

A challenge from United centre-back Lisandro Martinez late on in the Old Trafford showdown saw Palmer hobble off with stud marks on his left knee. The Blues are hoping that Palmer hasn't sustained a serious injury ahead of the home clash with Arsenal this weekend.

As per The Telegraph, the 22-year-old is expected to have a scan to be certain that he hasn't sustained a serious injury. With Palmer not a part of the Blues' matchday squad for the midweek UEFA Europa Conference League clash with Noah on Thursday (November 7), he has a few days to be fit for the Gunners game.

Coming to the game at Old Trafford, United drew first blood through captain Bruno Fernandes in the 70th minute. However, the advantage was short-lived, as the Blues equalised through Moises Caicedo four minutes later to force a share of the spoils.

The draw keeps Enzo Maresca's side ahead of fifth-placed Arsenal - their next opponents - on goal difference - while United moved up a place to 13th, having won just thrice in 10 games.

Chelsea 'frustrated' with Manchester United draw - Levi Colwill

Chelsea defender Levi Colwill admitted his team's frustration with not taking all three points from their trip to Old Trafford at the weekend. The Blues dominated possession but rued their profligacy (three of 12 shots on target).

Despite the dropped points, Maresca's side are on the rise, occupying a top-four place as they hope to return to the UEFA Champions League next season. Colwill said (as per the BBC):

"I think the team are very frustrated. Where we are in the season, the football we've been playing, like today at times, we deserve to win most games. I want to win every game, so I was bit disappointed that we didn't. It was obviously a tough one out there, and they had threats, and that's how they scored.
"We know what we're building. We know how good we are, how good we can be and how good we've been this season. At times in this game, we played good football, created good chances, but if you don't take the chances it keeps them in the game and they get a sniff. That's what happened."

As mentioned above, Chelsea return to Premier League action against Arsenal on November 10.
