Chelsea and Arsenal transfer target Jackson Martinez has intensified speculation over his future after admitting he would be interested in a move to England.
The Columbian has been a phenomenon at Porto since his move in 2012, scoring a mind boggling 39 goals in just 47 appearances in the Portuguese league so far.
The 27-year old was heavily linked with striker starved Chelsea and Arsenal in the January transfer window, but a move failed to materialise.
The forward was quoted saying, “Maybe there will be this possibility [of a move]. I am happy at Porto, but it would be nice to one day play in another big club.
“I like the English, Italian, Spanish and German leagues. I have no preference.”
However, the player’s agent was quick to suggest that his client is happy with the Portuguese giants, and will, in all likelyhood, extend his contract at the club.
