Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr teammate Anderson Talisca has reportedly asked the club to double the money he will receive till the end of his contract. The Brazilian's contract was last extended in 2023 and will expire in the summer of 2026.

Anderson Talisca joined the Knights of Najd in 2021 from Guangzhou FC for a reported €8 million. He has bagged 76 goals and 10 assists in 104 appearances across competitions. However, the Brazilian has been lackluster this season, registering only eight goals in 19 appearances.

As per NFC1World on X, Talisca and his agent have demanded that the player's remaining wages be doubled until the end of his contract. At present, the Brazilian earns € 125,000 per week (via Capology).

The need for higher wages seemingly stems from Al-Nassr wanting to sell him in 2025.

The Brazilian's contract ends in 2026 and the Saudi Pro League giants would want to sell him in 2025 to avoid letting him go for free in 2026. However, a move in the January transfer window seems unlikely because of a lack of potential suitors.

A move away from Cristiano Ronaldo's Al-Nassr might be beneficial for Talisca given that the Knights of Najd are unlikely to challenge for the league title this season. They are fourth in the league, trailing leaders Al-Ittihad (36) by 11 points.

Al-Nassr superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has said that the Saudi Pro League is superior than Ligue 1 The comments have seemingly caught a lot of attention, given that France is one of the world's leading footballing nations.

During the Globe Soccer Award ceremony in Dubai, Ronaldo was asked about his opinion on the two leagues. He replied (via talkSPORT):

"Saudi League is better than Ligue 1, of course. France only has PSG. The rest are finished. Try to sprint in 38, 39 40-degree weather and see."

Talking about the title race in the Saudi Pro League, he added:

"It is difficult to become a champion in Saudi. This year Al Hilal are better, Al Ittihad are top of the league, but I believe that we have to push hard to be champions.I've been champion everywhere I have (played), and I believe I will be champion, but I've won this trophy for scoring so many goals and assists and maintaining my level."

Cristiano Ronaldo joined Al-Nassr in December 2022 after a controversial exit from Manchester United. However, the Portuguese superstar is yet to win a competitive trophy with Al-Nassr since moving to the Middle East.
