Bayern Munich are reportedly looking to offer €90 million for PSG midfielder Xavi Simons. The 21-year-old is contracted with the Parsians till 2027 but has reportedly informed the club that he wishes to move on.

Simons is coming off an excellent Euro 2024 campaign with the Netherlands - scoring once and assisting thrice in six games - before losing 2-1 to England in the semi-final.

His only goal in the competition came against the Three Lions, opening the scoring before Gareth Southgate's side scored two unanswered goals to reach the final, where they lost 2-1 to Spain in the final.

On the club front, Simons spent a solid season on loan at RB Leipzig, contributing 10 goals and 15 assists in 43 games across competitions. The player is set to return to his parent club following his involvement at Euro 2024.

However, as per L'Equire (via Christian Falk of Sport Bild), his future seemingly lies away from the Parc des Princes, having informed them of his intention to leave. Falk has also reported that Bayern are offering €90 million for his services to PSG.

Simons has made just 11 appearances across competitions for PSG, registering an assist, and hasn't played for them since the 2021-22 season.

PSG enjoyed an impressive 2023-24 season under new boss Luis Enrique despite the departure of Lionel Messi and Neymar in the summer. The Parisians cantered to another Ligue 1 title as they won the domestic treble.

The Parisians lost just twice in the league as they finished nine points ahead of Monaco. In the Coupe de France, Enrique's side beat Olympique Lyon 2-1 in the final. Earlier in the year, they beat Toulouse 2-0 in the Trophee des Champions.

However, the Parisians' hopes of an unprecedented quadruple were ended by Borussia Dortmund in the semi-final. BvB won 1-0 home and away to quash Enrique's side's European hopes before losing 2-0 to eventual winners Real Madrid in the final last month.
