Rumour: Francois Gallardo believes Arsene Wenger wants Karim Benzema and Raphael Varane

As per reports of Intereconomia, Francois Gallardo is of the view that Arsene Wnger would wish to sign Real Madrid’s French duo, Karim Benzema and Raphael Varane.

Gallardo was quoted: “Arsenal want reinforced in the winter and will go for Benzema and Varane” revealed Gallardo. “Karim is the ‘darling’ of Wenger, who is obsessed with him and Raphael, but the operation is not viable. An English team will be strengthened in the winter and will come to Madrid to try to take two players from Santiago Bernabéu.

“Arsene Wenger wants to Karim Benzema, is their ‘right eye’ and is going to try by active and passive. Karim, obviously, will not leave in January.’s Unworkable. The other player that Arsene has in mind is Raphaël Varane. Their obsession is carried both in January, but is unworkable.”
