Rumour: Growing rift between David Moyes and players at Manchester United

Moyes losing control?

According to our sources, certain players are unhappy with David Moyes’ training methods. The coaching staff appears to have a rift, with Ryan Giggs the one looking in from the outside. Recently, Ryan Giggs missed a coaches meeting, and upon being asked why he didn’t attend by Phil Neville, Giggs retorted by saying, “What’s the point, Moyes doesn’t listen.”

We also understand certain senior players have expressed their fears regarding team matters. Rio Ferdinand‘s issues with Moyes run deeper, as Moyes’ repeated references in training as to “what Phil Jagielka would do in similar situations” have not impressed him. Ferdinand then proceeded to ask Moyes “how what Jagielka would do is of any consequence with how we do things at United”, which did not impress Moyes.

All in all, the verdict on Moyes at Carrington seems increasingly to be that he is clueless.
