Accoring to the Daily Mail, Inter Milan are exploring the possibility of landing long time target Danny Osvaldo from Southampton using Chelsea target Fredy Guarin as bait.
The Italian giants are languishing in 6th in the domestic league, a massive 21 points off the top. Inter are desperately in need of a striker, and have recognised Danny Osvaldo as a possible transfer target.
The mercurial Italian forward moved to St Mary’s only this summer, in a club record deal from Roma. However, the striker has failed to settle in, scoring only 3 goals in 13 appearances so far this season.
Fredy Guarin, who was a prime target for Chelsea, could lure the English club into selling their asset. However, as Mauricio Pochettino looks to secure a European position, he is unlikely to cash in on his goal scorer.
