Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez looks increasingly likely to leave Old Trafford in the summer after his national manager admitted the 25 year-old has grown frustrated with his treatment by new boss David Moyes, reports the Metro.
The Mexican was linked with a January move to either Tottenham or Valencia but opted to stay put for the remainder of the campaign.
However, having been forced to fulfil the role of a bit part player, the forward is growing concerned with his lack of playing time in a difficult season for the Red Devils.
Mexico manager Miguel Herrera has now lifted the lid on the player’s current feelings:
“He seems well but he is a bit frustrated because he doesn’t play despite training well and the truth is that when he does play, he makes a huge effort on the pitch.
“He is a bit frustrated because the current manager doesn’t give him many chances, but he is committed and doing what he can to become a starter. He likes to work and likes to show determination to achieve his goal,” declared Herrera.
With the World Cup in the summer, Hernandez is believed to be keen to showcase his talent on the world stage and seek a move away from Old Trafford if he is not given the opportunities he feels he deserves before the end of the season.
Of his 16 appearances, Javier Hernandez has completed a full game just once this season under new boss David Moyes.
