Joe Cole may join Brighton and Hove Albion of Football League Championship once his contract with West Ham expires in the summer. The former Liverpool and Chelsea star has struggled to find a first team place after rejoining the club in 2013.
It is reported that the English midfielder believes that it would be difficult to find a Premier League club who would offer him regular first team football. Cole also thinks that he will get it at Brighton and Hove Albion under former Barcelona youth manager Oscar Garcia.
Cole currently earns about £90,000 per week, and once he joins the second tier club he will have to take a massive drop in his wages. Though he has got a more lucrative deal to play for an unnamed MLS club, Cole is not ready to relocate his family to the United States.
Joe Cole has featured 20 times for the Hammers in this season.
