England goalkeeper Joe Hart will be handed a new contract worth £29 million-a-year by Manchester City when he returns from the World Cup campaign.
Joe Hart faced a brief drop in form last season and was side-lined for a short spell of six games before he fought it out with his under study Costel Pantilimon to regain his place in the first team. Thereafter, he produced some good performances late in the season to help Manchester City to win their second league title in three years.
Hart has two more years left in his current contract which pays him £70,000-a-week. But, the EPL champions want to ensure the England’s first choice shot-stopper’s sevices for a long-term as they are offering a five year deal which will pay him £110,000-a-week.
As their second-choice keeper Costel Pantilimon has been released from contract, Manuel Pelligrini is looking to sign a goalkeeper in this summer transfer window and reportedly Malaga's Willy Caballero is on top of his list as he wants a top-notch deputy for Joe Hart.
