Rumour : Jurgen Klopp heads Manchester United's shortlist if David Moyes gets sacked

According to our sources, Manchester United have a shortlist in place if David Moyes was to be sacked. We understand Jürgen Klopp & Diego Simeone are in pole position.

Klopp has led Borussia Dortmund to 2 Bundesliga titles in the last 3 years, and took them to the finals of the Champions League last year while Simeone has transformed Atletico Madrid’s fortunes after taking over as they now are challenging Barcelona and Real Madrid for the La Liga title.

Following the humiliating loss to Liverpool, reports have emerged that David Moyes’ job as manager of Manchester United is not secure. Reports of a rift between the players and the coaching staff have played a role in the board considering sacking Moyes if results don’t improve soon. The board at United are also worried about the potential financial situation if the club have to survive without Champions league football for more than one season.

We can rule out Louis van Gaal as a potential candidate for the position if Moyes was to be sacked; our sources can confirm that he won’t be Manchester United’s next manager.
