Rumour: Juventus make £20m bid for Chelsea midfielder Ramires

Juventus have reportedly made a £20m bid for Chelsea playmaker, Ramires to help them mount a strong challenge in the Champions League next season.

The Bianconnneri just won their third successive Serie A title and are hoping to acquire Ramires in case Paul Pogba or Arturo Vidal leave.

Ramires has had a good campaign and has been an important part of Jose Mourinho’s team making 45 appearances for the Blues this season. It was earlier reported that Jose Mourinho is willing to let go of five of his players following a trophyless season.

Ramires has had a hard time discipline wise gathering almost a dozen yellow cards and is currently serving a four-match ban for violent conduct after he elbowed Sunderland’s Sebastian Larsson in the face at Stamford Bridge.

With Nemanja Matic in good form and the rumored arrival of Paulinho from Tottenham, Ramires may not be Mourinho’s first choice anymore.

Ramires is also allegedly being chased by Real Madrid.
