According to Daily Mail, Olympique de Marseille are interested in Arsenal striker Eddie Nketiah. Roberto De Zerbi has recently taken charge of Marseille after leaving Brighton & Hove Albion.
The Gunners are open to letting the striker leave. However, they will only if they receive £30 million. Marseille's current offer is deemed as too low, as per the aforementioned report.
Nketiah, 25, made 168 appearances across competitions for the Gunners, scoring 38 goals and providing seven assists. Last season, he made 37 appearances, scoring six goals and providing three assists as the Gunners registered successive runner-up finishes in the Premier League.
However, he only started 13 games, and his game time is not expected to improve this season. That's because Kai Havertz, Gabriel Jesus and Leandro Trossard are ahead of him in the pecking order.
Nketiah is an academy product of the north London club and is contracted with them till the end of the 2026-27 season. Former Gunners man Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has left Marseille to join Al-Quadsiah, so they are pursuing Nketiah.
