Rumour: Liverpool hold out £100 million price tag for striker Luis Suarez

Luis Suarez has been the name on every ones lips so far this season. The forward has already netted 14 times this season, in a mere 10 appearances for the Merseysiders, which see’s them sit pretty in second place, 5 points behind leaders – Arsenal.

The Uruguayan, who was adamant on leaving reds in the summer transfer window, looks to be enjoying his football again. However, if Liverpool fail to secure Champions League football, his exit will be inevitable.

Realising his importance, the club are preparing a bumper £250,000 a week contract, to convince him to stay at Anfield=. However, if Luis Suarez decides to reject the deal, Liverpool are holding out for a £100 million transfer fee for their star man.

The 26-year old has been heavily linked with big clubs like Real Madrid and Chelsea FC, who are both in need of a proven goal-scorer.
