Liverpool are thought to be targeting Swansea City striker Wilfried Bony in the summer as they look to bolster their goalscoring department even more, according to the Mirror.
The Reds scored 101 goals in the Premier League this season to become only the third side ever to score 100 or more since it’s inception in 1992.
With Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge in attack, Liverpool fought for the title until the final day when Manchester City secured triumph but the Reds’ season was still a success. They scored a multitude of goals and a lot of them came in the big games against Everton, Arsenal, Tottenham and even Man City.
Their defence is the priority this summer as they leaked 50 goals, just one fewer than West Ham, but their concern still seems to be how they can improve their attack.
Bony scored 24 goals in all competitions for Swansea last season after signing in the summer from Vitesse Arnhem in the Eredivisie. He took his time getting used to his surroundings but was fantastic in 2014 and even scored a winning goal at Old Trafford in the FA Cup.
It is thought that Bony would cost the Reds, who are in the Champions League next season, around £20 million.
