Loic Remy is reportedly set to stun Liverpool and Arsenal by snubbing the pair and moving to fellow Premier League side, Chelsea.
The French hit-man is in hot demand after his brilliant season under Alan Pardew at Newcastle. The QPR striker was on-loan at the Tyneside club for the 2013/14 season and his lethal form has attracted the attention of Arsenal and Liverpool, who are pursuing the former Marseille man.
Despite QPR’s promotion to the Premier League, Remy is keen to move to a bigger club and is already planning a move to Chelsea, according to the Express.
Reports in France suggest that Tottenham Hotspur have been the first club to make contact with QPR over Remy, who has a £8m buy-out clause, but the French international is more keen on a move to Chelsea.
Both Liverpool and Arsenal have held talks with Remy’s representatives according to reports, however, neither club has yet followed up on those conversations by opening negotiations with QPR.
Jose Mourinho is desperate to reinforce his front-line and he has already reportedly tied up a deal for Atletico Madrid striker, Diego Costa. Romelu Lukaku is also due to return to Chelsea following his loan spell at Everton, however, the Belgian forward is deemed surplus to requirements under Jose Mourinho and he is set to find a new club in the summer.
