27-year-old French striker Loic Remy has expressed his desire to join Arsenal this summer, a source close to the player has revealed.
Currently at loan with Newcastle, the French striker is contracted to Championship club Queen Park Rangers and has been on the radar of Tottenham Hotspur for a while now.
The source adds that Remy will snub a move to anywhere else, if the Gunners are interested in his services, as Remy wishes to emulate his idol, Thierry Henry.
“If Arsenal want him that’s where he will go,” the source said. “Where else would a big fan of Thierry Henry want to go?”
The French striker is interested in sorting his future before going to Brazil for the World Cup, while QPR are said to be holding out for a £15 million price.
