Loic Remy is keen on joining Arsenal in the summer and will reportedly reject any other offers for his signature should the Gunners firm up their interest with a concrete bid, according to The Mirror.
Tottenham Hotspur have also been linked with the French forward when his loan from QPR to Newcastle ends, while the Magpies are also keen on bringing him back on a permanent basis.
The player himself however is believed to be keen on returning to London and with QPR struggling to gain promotion, he could be available for as little as £8 million in the summer.
Arsenal are known to be in the market for a striker in the summer to help ease the burden placed upon Olivier Giroud, with Nicklas Bendtner set to leave the club in the summer and Yaya Sanogo still learning his trade.
Remy has impressed at St James’ Park this season, but the odds of him staying in the North East look slim, with the Frenchman looking to get his future sorted before he potentially jets off to Brazil for France’s World Cup squad.
A source close to the player has suggested Arsenal are his preferred option however, telling the Mirror, “If Arsenal want him, that’s where he will go. Where else would a big fan of Thierry Henry want to go?”
