Reportedly, Arsenal star Lukas Podolski is expected to leave Emirates in Summer as Serie A giants Inter Milan are very close to sealing a deal with the North London club.
Currently, German international is struggling to earn a permanent place in Arsenal’s starting lineup. In the last game against Stoke City, Wenger started Podolski, but he failed to make any kind of impact and eventually was substituted in the second half.
Inter’s new owner, Erick Thohir already hinted that a massive budget will be available for the manager to spend in the Summer transfer window.
With Nemanja Vidic already agreeing to sign with them, former European champions are also linked with Sagna, Evra and Podolski. Podolski’s contract only expires in 2016, so, Inter needs to splash some reasonable cash to lure him away from Emirates.
