Reports in Spain suggest that Manchester United manager David Moyes will attempt to sign both Sami Khedira and Angel Di Maria from Real Madrid in January.
According to Mundo Deportivo, United coach Phil Neville was present at the Bernabeu as Madrid demolished Sevilla 7-3 at the end of October and had Khedira firmly in his sights.
Moyes is reportedly considering offering £35 million for Khedira as he sees him as his priority.
Di Maria is also on Moyes’ radar as Gareth Bale’s form has picked up which could see him force the Argentine out of Madrid’s starting line-up.
The winger is, apparently, available at £18m.
Despite Carlo Ancelotti coming out in support of Di Maria, it is thought that both players may be available to leave the club in the upcoming transfer window.
Moyes is known to be looking for a central midfielder as he is still short in that department despite spending £28m on Marouane Fellaini in the summer.
United wingers aren’t performing to their previous standards, too, as Ashley Young and Nani flitter in and out of the team but to no avail.
Di Maria has played in all but one match in La Liga this season and is Real Madrid’s highest chance creator with 23.
