Reports from Express suggest, Manchester City striker Edin Dzeko might make a move back to the Bundesliga to join Borussia Dortmund. Edin Dzeko joined Manchester City in 2011 from VfL Wolfsburg.
Dortmund reportedly were preparing a £17 million offer to bring in Edin Dzeko, who is being considered as a replacement for Robert Lewandowski.
But Dortmund are not willing to pay him a salary of £7 million, which he now gets at the Etihad.
However, the striker is ready to accept a pay-cut to join the German club as he had been out of favour for most of his time at Manchester City this season with Manuel Pellegrini preferring to start Alavro Negredo ahead of Dzeko.
Dortmund had earlier offered Dzeko a deal last summer, but the striker refused it due to a lesser salary at the Westfalenstadion.
