David Moyes is ready to stamp his authority at Manchester United this summer, as he plans to shake up his squad ahead of next season’s Premier League campaign, according to the Telegraph.
They have a number of targets in mind for signings as well, with Toni Kroos, Ilkay Gundogan, Luke Shaw and William Carvalho all believed to be high on the wishlist at Old Trafford as they aim to restore the club to it’s former glories.
The United manager has endured a difficult first season in charge at Old Trafford and was the subject of a fan protest on Saturday as fans flew a plane over the ground prior to the 4-1 victory over Aston Villa demanding for his removal as manager.
Moyes handled the affair with great dignity and is now planning to make the position his own as he plots a raft of changes, with ins and outs aplenty at United planned.
Nemanja Vidic is a definite exit in the summer, having signed a pre-contract agreement to join Inter Milan and he could be one of several senior playing staff shown the door at the end of the season.
Rio Ferdinand could retire at the end of the season as well, while the futures of Patrice Evra, Wilfried Zaha, Nani, Shinji Kagawa and Javier Hernandez remain shrouded in doubt and Anderson is unlikely to be welcomed back from his loan spell at Fiorentina.
