Pedro frustrated by lack of action

Barcelona’s Pedro is looking to make a move to the Premier League amid growing concerns regarding his first-team role at the Nou Camp, according to reports from Spain.

The Spanish international had been one of the Catalan giants’ key men for some time, but has been limited to a bit part role within the La Liga champions’ squad since Tata Martino took up the reins.

This season, Barca have varied their playing style by depending more on counter attacks often, and this has put more emphasis on the abilities of Neymar, Fabregas and a rejuvenated Alexis Sanchez.

With the World Cup on the horizon, sitting on the bench has become frustrating for the 26-year-old.

Arsenal and Manchester United have a long-term interest in the winger, and are likely to move for Pedro if he grows discontented ahead of the January transfer window.

Pedro is also believed to be attracted to the Premier League and would consider a move away from his homeland if he were to be forced to leave his boyhood club.

In spite of the lack of opportunities, the Barca ace has managed to net seven goals this term.
