Manchester United have submitted a £20 million bid for Inter players Yuto Nagatomo and Fredy Guarin.
Full back Patrice Evra‘s contract expires in the summer and manager David Moyes wants a long term replacement for the Frenchman. Nagatomo, who can play either as a full back or a wing back, is high on Moyes’s list after Real Madrid left back Fabio Coentrao.
Fredy Guarin, who has attracted interest from the Barcelona and Chelsea, is also said to be on Moyes’s list.
United’s path has become a lot more clearer now after Chelsea re-signed Nemanja Matic this week. Moyes has been continuously thwarted in his bidding and will be hopeful that Inter will listen to his offer.
Inter are being linked with a move for Hernanes of Lazio, hence Guarin may be allowed to move on if a suitable deal arrives.
