According to Daily Star, Manchester United are all set to bid for Everton’s ace midfielder, Ross Barkley in January.
Barkley made his debut in Everton under current United manager, David Moyes. Moyes is eager to bring back his ex-pupil to strengthen his midfield.
It is believed, Manchester City too are keen on roping in the midfielder and are ready to battle with their neighbors during the January transfer window.
United president, Ed Woodward had a 5 hour meeting with David Moyes last day in which Barkley was a major part. The Red Devils are also keen to offer Tom Cleverly along with money for the English midfielder.
Everton, however, are confident Barkley will stay, as he has made it clear he is happy playing under Roberto Martinez.
