Manchester United could revive their interest in Inter Milan star Fredy Guarin again with the hope of landing him in a summer move, Talk Sport report.
The Colombian midfielder was linked with a switch to Old Trafford in the January transfer window, with a rumoured swap deal involving Javier Hernandez mentioned in some quarters, but nothing came to pass as United settled for the singular signing of Juan Mata.
The Red Devils have targeted an overhaul of their squad in the summer, with Moyes promised in the region of £150million to invest into new playing staff and freshen up a squad that has badly under-performed this season.
Guarin is one man that has been identified to help the midfield options and United have been given a boost in the news that he has shelved any talks over a new contract at the San Siro until the end of the season.
He is currently contracted until 2016, but Inter do regard him as an important member of the first-team and intend to offer him an improved deal.
But it is believed that Guarin is not interesting in discussing anything until after the World Cup with Colombia, when he will consider all options on the table, with a chance to try his hand in the Premier League reportedly appealing to him.
Fredy Guarin has five assists this season from 32 created chances for Inter Milan. Only Wayne Rooney can boast more in Manchester United’s squad.
