Manchester United are pursuing France international Adil Rami and are ready to offer €12m for the defender.
Rami joined Italian side, AC Milan, on loan from Valencia this January window, and it is believed that a permanent deal will not occur as the two sides have failed to reach an agreement over a £10m fee.
The 28-year-old reportedly had a fallout with his bosses at Valencia which forced him to move to the Serie A side. But Milan boss Clarence Seedorf hasn’t been too impressed with his showings and feels that the fee demanded by the Mestalla outfit is too much for their centre-back.
However, Manchester United are ready to fulfill their demands and are preparing to negotiate a deal with the two clubs.
United haven’t had a stable defensive pairing throughout the season and with an aging Ferdinand and Vidic on his way out, Adil Rami will certainly be a considerable option for the Red Devils at the back.
Adil Rami has made 13 league appearances for AC Milan this season, scoring three goals and providing two assists on the process.
