Rumour: Manchester United's Wilfried Zaha furious over blocked loan move

Manchester United winger Wilfried Zaha has reportedly been involved in a heated row with manager David Moyes, with Goal alleging that the England under 21 international stormed out of United’s Carrington training ground. Zaha has been pushing for a loan move away from the club and a row appears to have been sparked by Moyes’s refusal to sanction such a move.

Zaha has made just two league appearances for Manchester United under David Moyes and has found himself low down in the Old Trafford pecking order. Behind the likes of Shinji Kagawa, Adnan Januzaj, Antonio Valencia, Ashley Young and Nani in the race for a starting spot, Zaha had hoped to be allowed to leave the club in January.

West Brom, Newcastle and Cardiff were amongst the plethora of Premier League clubs interested in the former Crystal Palace winger, but have seen their hopes of landing Zaha dashed by Moyes.

Moyes is keen to keep Zaha at Old Trafford as cover for the injured Young and Nani and broke the news to a frustrated Zaha in a meeting this morning. This prompted the alleged argument, leading Zaha to walk out on the former Everton boss.

United paid a fee worth up to £17 million to take Zaha to Old Trafford last January, but a lack of first team opportunities and a difficult adaptation to life in the North West has seen the 21 year old push hard for a loan move. Whether the latest development in his relationship with Moyes will hasten an exit from the club remains to be seen.
