According to The Telegraph, Micah Richards is ready to quit Manchester City in January. It is believed Richards is not happy at the club due to lack of first team appearances under new manager Manuel Pellegrini.
Earlier this season, City chairman Khaldoon Al-Mubarak made it clear that he would persuade Richards to extend his current deal, which expires in the summer of 2015.
However, after being restricted to just seven Premier League starts last season due to ankle and knee injuries, Richards decided to leave the club’s offer on the table in order to see how he fitted into the plans of Manuel Pellegrini.
The start to the current campaign did not go well either for the English defender as he again suffered from a hamstring problem, but since returning to the team at the end of September he has started just six times in all competitions.
The 25-year-old joined Manchester City 11 years ago, revealed that his patience was running out.
