According to reports coming out of England, Newcastle United have rejected a £14 million offer from French giants PSG for in-demand midfield sensation Yohan Cabaye.
The playmaker has been coveted by several top clubs this season following his flying start to the season in the Premier League. The Frenchman has scored 8 goals from a deep lying position so far, propelling his side into the top 9 of the competitive domestic tournament.
The 28-year has been heavily linked with Arsenal, who have been previously rebuffed in their attempt to land the star, and Manchester United who are preparing a massive overhaul of their current squad under new manager David Moyes.
The Toons, however, are desperate to hold on to their asset, slapping a £21 million price tag on the talented maestro. With the rejection of a substatial £14 million bid, Alan Pardew and the management have underlined their desire to fend off interest from potential suitors.
