Vicente Cascione, a former official at Santos has claimed that Neymar da Silva is bound for the Bundesliga and Bayern Munich.
Pep Guardiola was heavily linked with buying the Brazilian when he was in charge of Barcelona, a club that still remains in pole-position to buy the talented left-footer.
However, Vicente is confident that Neymar is heading to Bayern Munich and that the deal is ‘done’.
On his blog, the ex-official said, “I have this information first hand. Neymar has signed for Bayern Munich. It’s already a done deal.
“I am not speculating here. This information is irrefutable. From August this year on, the player will be part of Bayern’s squad.
“So his next destination will not be Spain, like many expected. He’s not going to Barcelona or Real Madrid. He will go to Germany.“
Neymar’s current contract is till after the 2014 World Cup and his club have repeatedly said that the forward will not leave this summer.
However, Bayern Munich have the funds available and a bid in the region of £50 million would definitely stir Santos’s pot.
